Intro to Art; Semester Final
The project I loved the most was the Tree of Life. I liked how you could add your own touch to it. I also enjoyed doing the Self Portrait. It was difficult at first because I had never done it before, but once I got the basic outline done... it became easier. Another one I liked, was the watercolor painting. Water color is harder to work with in my opinion but I still enjoyed it. My least favorite project was the non-objective. I just didn't enjoy it as much. It didn't really have a challenge to it. The conference art fair was really fun. I liked having some of my pieces in there. I was really excited when I found out I got 3rd on one of my pictures. Setting up and tearing down was kind of rough but it was worth it. I liked seeing other art pieces and seeing everyone's talents. I really liked the paintings and it was crazy to see how good most of them were. I want to put more photography pieces next year. Also, I want to try and do better on some paintings so I could put those in the Art Fair too. I am going to take Advanced art next year, and hopefully 2D art as well. I am curious about what we will be doing.
Semester Final; 3D Art
I have learned a lot of new stuff, like paper mache, and more about creativity. I really liked the paper mache.. and my least favorite was the clay lantern. Maybe it's because I didn't work as hard on it or maybe its because I like wheel throwing with clay more. The conference art fair was really fun. I liked having some of my pieces in there.
